WILLIAM H. “BILL” WATSON, JR.

Devoted brother, father, grandfathe­r and uncle, Bill Watson passed away peacefully on Friday, the 19th of October 2018 surrounded by his family. He was 79 years of age.

Bill was born on the 9th of May 1939, in Houston, to William H. Sr. and Audrey Watson. Bill was a graduate of The University of Houston, an avid golfer and a life-long member of Braeburn Country Club.

After graduating from the University of Houston, where Bill earned a degree in finance, he became a bank examiner for the state of Texas and remained in the finance industry for many years.

Bill is survived by his sister, Robin Watson Livesay and her husband Dr. James Livesay; as well as Bill’s sons, William “Will” Watson III and his wife Molly, James “Jim” Watson, and Bradley “Brad” Watson and his wife Kayla; niece, Jenny Livesay Webster and nephew, Grant Livesay. Bill’s grandchild­ren, Connor, Tyler, Kalie, Chase, Clay and Brynna, were the light of his life.

A memorial service celebratin­g Bill’s life is to be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 27th of October, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis and Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediatel­y following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
