Rockets (45-27) update: They have won 12 of 14 games, but come off an overtime loss in Memphis on Wednesday. They are 4-1 at home since the All-Star break. … The Rockets have won two of three meetings with the Spurs this season and five of the past seven games between the teams. … The Rockets’ starting lineup Wednesday was their 20th of the season. The most successful lineup (13-3) is Eric Gordon, P.J. Tucker, Clint Capela, James Harden and Chris Paul with only Tucker playing and starting in every game. … James Harden has made 34.6 percent of his shots, 25.6 percent of his 3s against the Spurs this season. Guard Eric Gordon, who sat out Wednesday for rest, has averaged 22.3 points on 37.8 percent 3-point shooting against the Spurs this season. … Forward/center Kenneth Faried (sore right knee) is probable. Center Isaiah Hartenstei­n (sore Achilles) is out.

Spurs (42-30) update: They had a nine-game winning streak snapped with a home loss to the Heat on Wednesday. The Spurs’ 48.7 percent shooting ranks second in the NBA and they lead in 3-point shooting percentage (39.9) while committing the fewest turnovers (12.1). They average the fewest 3-pointers, 24.9 per game. … Averaging 21.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists, DeMar DeRozan is on pace to be the first Spurs player to average 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in a season. … Dejounte Murray (right ACL tear) is out.
