AFA Summer Music Festival
Houston area high school musicians who make up the AFA Symphony Orchestra will perform orchestral works, including Respighi’s Pines of Rome and an AFA-commissioned arrangement of Beacon Fires by Houston composer Rob Smith. Led by conductor Dr. Michelle Perrin Blair.

Dissection Days on Free Family Thursdays
Parents and children will learn about the anatomy and physiology of a variety of animal organs, from a cow’s eyeball to a sheep’s brain, and engage and learn about the internal and external structures of different organs, such as the liver, brain, heart and the body’s cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and immune systems.
