Interfaith of The Woodlands community resale shop gets new location
J. Alexander’s Holdings ,a Nashville-based owner and operator of upscale restaurants, plans to open its first Merus Grill at 1180 Uptown Park Blvd. in Uptown Park on Nov. 18. The 7,900square-foot restaurant will have seating for 200. Will Reiser serves as general manager and Ulises Chavez is executive chef for the restaurant, which offers a contemporary take on American cuisine. Uptown Park is owned by Edens. J. Alexander’s Holdings operates 46 restaurants in 16 states.
Cricket Wireless USA leased 20,428 square feet at 14615 Beechnut. Kat Morrison and Julian Kwok represented the landlord, Hartman Income REIT. Mallia Texas Properties represented the tenant. Interfaith Hand Me Up Shop leased 22,000 square feet for a larger store at 536 Sawdust Road in The Woodlands. The shop, which has been at 25018 Spring Ridge Drive since 1989, funds programs of Interfaith of The Woodlands such as the food pantry, crisis support and care programs for senior citizens. Rob Banzhaf and Zack Wheeler of Newcor Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant. Adam Bluestein of Global Realty & Management TX represented the landlord, EQYInvest Grogans Owner Ltd.

Tequileria leased 2,000 square feet in the Shops at Cypresswood at 19507 Interstate 45 North. James Namken, Cole Mueller and Sarah Thobae with Weitzman handled negotiations for the landlord. The restaurant joins SuperTarget, Best Buy, Staples, Petco, Ulta, Smashburger, Smoothie King and other tenants in the center.
Club Champion, a retailer of custom-fit golf clubs, opened a fitting studio at 19075 Interstate 45 S. in Shenandoah near The Woodlands. The 3,000-squarefoot location, its second in the Houston market, has two indoor hitting bays with monitors for analyzing performance and a build shop for repairing and assembling golf clubs. The 7 Leaves Café leased a 1,973-square-foot building for a teahouse with drive-thru at 8910 Westheimer in Piney Point Shopping Center. Josh Friedlander and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, RPI Management Co. Grace La and John Nguyen of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. The building, which previously housed Golden Chick, will undergo a renovation in the coming months. The Californiabased restaurant, which serves hot and cold teas, coffees and handmade macarons, has another Houston location at 9798 Bellaire Blvd.
La Vienesa Bakery leased 2,150 square feet at Richmond Avenue Shopping at Richmond Avenue and Fountain View Drive for its third location. Owned by Julio Garcia, La Vienesa Bakery specializes in cakes and breads. Emil Wulfe of Wulfe & Co. negotiated the lease.
William Cantanese leased 2,800 square feet for a Sylvan
Learning Center at Clear Lake Center, at 20814 Gulf Freeway, Suite 50, in Webster. Jacob Grossman with United Equities represented the landlord, Clear Lake Center LP.
Dog Haus Biergarten purchased 1.25 acres at Riverstone Place Shopping Center, at the southwest corner of Texas 6 and Riverstone Boulevard in Missouri City. Benny Nguyen and Dave Burggraaf of Retail Solutions represented the buyer. Sam Seligmann of NewQuest Properties represented the seller.
Round Top Collection Gallery opened in Market Street — The Woodlands near Kendra Scott and Starbucks. The store, its third in the Houston area, sells home décor items inspired by antique finds in Round Top. Market Street, at 9595 Six Pines Drive, is owned by Trademark Property Co. and Institutional Mall Investors.
Cheddar’s Casual Café acquired a 2.34-acre site in Conroe Marketplace, at 2908 Interstate 45 North, Conroe. Brad LyBrand and Neal Thomson of NewQuest Properties represented the seller, CCAC Conroe Holdings. Kyle Anz of HGA Holdings represented the buyer.
Hempire CBD Wellness Center signed a 616-square foot, three-year lease at Lakes on Eldridge Centre, at 5630 North Eldridge Parkway. Yun Global LLC represented the tenant and Angie Steadman represented the landlord, The Richland Cos., in-house. Palio Pizza and Italian Grill and Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic have renewed leases in the center.
Untuckit, a store specializing in shirts designed to be worn untucked, opened a 1,307-squarefoot store at The Woodlands Mall, 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Since 2015, the brand has grown to 83 stores including a location in the Galleria.
Run Like A Girl leased 4,743 square feet at 23930 Westheimer Parkway, Katy. Jazz Hamilton and Rusty Lilley with CBRE represented the landlord, Village Center Plaza LLC.
