Lately: The Rockets have won five straight after victories over the Pelicans and Clippers earlier this week. The Pacers have won four in a row, including a victory over Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Scouting the Rockets: After Friday, the Rockets will play three of their next four on the road before getting three straight home games to close out the month. … The Rockets have led by double digits in 10 of their 11 games. … Since losing their home opener to Milwaukee, the Rockets have won four straight at Toyota Center. … The team has outscored opponents by an average of 13.8 points over the past four games after not recording a win by more than seven points the first seven games. … Both James Harden and Russell Westbrook are averaging more than 20 points per game. Injury report: Rockets — Guards Eric Gordon (arthroscop­ic knee surgery) and Gerald Green (left foot surgery) and centers Clint Capela (concussion) Nene (strained adductor) are out. Forward Danuel House Jr. (bruised lower back) is doubtful. Pacers — Center Goga Bitadze (concussion protocol) is questionab­le. Guards Jeremy Lamb (sprained ankle), Victor Oladipo (knee rehabilita­tion) and Edmond Sumner (sore hand) and center Myles Turner (sprained ankle) are out.
