Lately: The Rockets have a season-long three-game losing streak, with Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks ending a six-game home winning streak. The Heat have a sixgame winning streak, including their last three on the road.

Scouting the Rockets: They lost the first meeting in Miami by 29 points after last season’s games between the teams were decided by three or fewer points. … The Rockets are third in offensive rating but slipped to 18th in defensive rating in their three-game losing streak. … Clint Capela has had at least 19 rebounds in seven consecutiv­e games. Since 1983-84, only Dennis Rodman, who did it twice, had streaks that long with 19 rebounds. Capela’s 14.6 rebounds per game is second in the NBA. … James Harden, who has averaged 40.7 points per game in the past three games against the Heat, has scored 645 points in 634 minutes this season, the most points through 17 games since Michael Jordan scored 658 in 1986-87. … Russell Westbrook has scored at least 20 points in his past four games, his longest streak of the season. Scouting the Heat: The Heat began the first meeting outscoring the Rockets 26-4. They led by 41 less than four minutes into the second quarter. The Hea’ts 46 firstquart­er points were a franchise record, their 32-point lead was the third-largest after one quarter in NBA history. … The Heat are fifth in defensive rating during their fivegame winning streak The Heat are second in field goal percentage, third in 3-point percentage and second in assist percentage. … The Heat are 9-0 when center Bam Adebayo has a double-double. … Jimmy Butler’s 2.62 steals per game lead the NBA. Myers Leonard’s 51.9 percent 3-point shooting is second in the NBA among players with at least 10 attempts.

Injury report: Rockets —Center Clint Capela (illness) is questionab­le. Guards Eric Gordon (right knee surgery) and Gerald Green (left foot surgery) and center Nene (strained adductor) are out. Heat — Guard Justise Winslow (concussion) is probable. Forwards Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) and KZ Okpala (Achilles) are out.
