Fort Bend County testing: Fort Bend County has opened a third site for free coronavirus testing. The site at Thurgood Marshall High School, 1220 Buffalo Run, will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Test kits and results will be from LabCorp with AccessHealth performing the tests. You must register for an appointment by calling 281-238-2363 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday or Saturday 8 a.m.-noon or online at coronavirusfortbend.gov.
Mask distribution: YMCA of Houston, state Sen. Carol Alvarado, state Rep. Anna Eastman, U.S. Rep. Sylvia Garcia, city council member Karla Cisneros, the Greater Northside Management District, White Oak Music Hall, McDonald’s and Gulf Coast Distillers will distribute 5,000 masks from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 2 at White Oak Music Hall, 2915 Main.

DePelchin Children’s Center has taken its support services online via Zoom. These programs are all in English and Spanish.
• Mental Health Support Line: This new service helps callers 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Call 713-558-3777
• Virtual Parent Cafes: Parents come together in a safe place for mutual support as they learn parenting skills and communication. Go to bit.ly/ParentCafes
