COVID-19 TESTING SITES CVS:

CVS Health is opening 11 drive-thru, self-swab coronaviru­s testing sites in the Houston area on Friday for people who show symptoms of a COVID-19 infection. You can register online at cvshealth.com/covid19/testingloc­ations. Each site can do up to 50 tests per day and customers can have results back within three days. Locations are:

• Baytown: 3923 Garth Road

• Cypress: 26265 Northwest Freeway and 12550 Louetta

• Galveston: 2326 61st St.

• Houston: 15010 and 12502 Memorial Drive, 1003 Richmond, 5402 Westheimer, 2469 Bay Area, 1000 Elgin, 6079 Texas 6 North, 12601 and 19715 Tomball Parkway, 5510 W. Orem, 5430 Bissonnet, 5603 and 11600 FM 1960 West, 4150 N. Shepherd, 5725 N. Eldridge Parkway, 2828 Spears Road, 4451 W. Fuqua Road

Thurgood Marshall High School:

This Missouri City high school is a new cite for free COVID-19 testing in Fort Bend County. To be tested, residents must call 281-238-2363 or check in online (https://uthtmc.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/ SV_0ILT5XuVXN­8gvhH) for a prescreeni­ng questionna­ire before making an appointmen­t.

Houston/Harris County:

Both provide symptom informatio­n and arrange for testing at Butler Stadium (13755 S. Main) or Delmar Stadium (2020 Mangum). An identifica­tion code will be given to symptomati­c callers, who must bring an ID and insurance informatio­n if they have coverage, if not the test is free. Fort Bend County:

Free COVID-19 testing to everyone, including those who are not symptomati­c. County residents should call 281-238-2363 for an ID code and to schedule a date and time for testing. The county is able to do 200 tests per day; you must bring the code with you to the testing appointmen­t. You must register for an appointmen­t by calling 281-238-2363 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday or Saturday 8 a.m.-noon or online at coronaviru­sfortbend.gov.

Montgomery County:

936-5235040 (8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily) for help with testing.

Brazoria County:

979-864-2167 (10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday); for a list of testing facilities go to brazoriaco­untytx.gov.

Galveston County:

409-9387221, option 1 (8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday). Offers symptom informatio­n and provide phone numbers so callers can arrange testing themselves.

MD Medical Group:

Its Clinicas Mi Doctor, 10058 Long Point, and MD KidsPediat­rics, 6812 Harrisburg, offer drive-thru COVID-19 testing. You must have an appointmen­t; call or text 888-7765252 or go to mdmedicalg­roup.us.

United Memorial Medical Center free coronaviru­s testing sites:

9 a.m.-4 p.m. MondayFrid­ay at UMMC Tidwell, 510 W. Tidwell, and HCC Eastside Campus parking garage, 6815 Rustic, building B; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Forest Brook Middle School, 7525 Tidwell, Cullen Middle School, 6900 Scott, Griggs School, 801 Regional Park; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 6402 Market, Denver Harbor; and by appointmen­t only (not free) at 1960 Physicians Associates, 837 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, UMMC Sugar Land, 1211 Texas 6, Sugar Land, and UMMC Spring, 20635 Kuykendahl, Spring.
