Hallmark Floors expands into Houston with distribution center
Hallmark Floors, a California-based flooring manufacturer, expanded into the Houston market with the purchase from Vigavi SEDC of a 170,476-squarefoot distribution center at 730 Genoa Red Bluff Road. Nathan Wynne and Cape Bell with CBRE represented the seller. David Buescher and Louis Tomaselli with JLL represented the buyer. The building will enable Hallmark to better serve distributors and dealers east of the Rockies.
Houston-based Vigavi recently completed the building, with Burton Construction, Powers Brown Architecture and WGA on the project team. Amegy Bank provided construction financing.
“With this year’s economic changes, companies are taking a closer look at their supply chains and this front-load distribution center represented a strategic opportunity to be closer to consumers and manufacturing locations,” Wynne said in an announcement.
BrandSafway Solutions leased a 15,000-square-foot building on 3.6 acres at 5825 Kelley St. Taylor Schmidt and Reed Vestal of Lee & Associates represented the tenant. David Munson of Boyd Commercial represented the landlord, Audie Gray Family LP.
Seis Gear purchased a 27,435square-foot industrial building at 126 Anton Stade Road, Rosenberg. Travis Land and AJ Williams of NAI Partner represented the buyer. Barkley Peschel with Colliers International represented the seller.
MHW, a real estate brokerage and investment firm, is renovating the former Carter Drug Store building at 336 N. Main St. in downtown Conroe. MHW will occupy 2,500 square feet on the second floor of the 11,000-squarefoot building for its headquarters. The University of St. Thomas and Blue Epiphany Vineyards have leased space in the building.
East End Maker Hub ,a 300,000-square-foot manufacturing center being developed by Urban Partnerships Community
Development Corp. in partnership with Houston-based manufacturing incubator TXRX Labs, is offering spaces ranging from 450 square feet to 60,000 square feet for lease. Located at at 6501 Navigation Blvd., the initial phase of the project is on track for completion this summer. Stewart Development & Construction and Method Architecture are handling design and construction services. TXRX Labs will occupy approximately 60,000 square feet. East End Maker Hub will provide space for crafters, manufacturers and innovators.
Collins, Nunez, Quinn Dermatology leased 1,028 square feet at 4110 Bellaire Blvd. Mary Jo Giammalva of JLM Commercial Advisors represented the tenant. Chris Powell of Pipeline Realty represented the landlord, Fairhaven Professional LLC.
Reveal Energy Services, Houston-based technology company providing fracture measurement services to the oil industry, renewed a lease for 8,593 square feet at 1500 CityWest Blvd in Westchase. Jason Whittington of NAI Partners represented the tenant. Scott Fikes of JLL represented the landlord, Bridge Commercial Real Estate.
CTCI extended their 9,166square-foot lease at Royal Oaks Centre. Kurt Kistler and Spencer Starkey of Moody Rambin represented the landlord. Josh Morrow of Avison Young represented the tenant.
Intercontinental Terminals Co. subleased 8,655 square feet in Deerwood Glen Office Park, 4400 Highway 225, Pasadena. Gregory Marconi, Rob Stillwell of Newmark Knight Frank represented the subtenant. Colliers International represented JV Driver Group.
