Five Below reaches 1,000 stores with new Houston location
Five Below,
a retailer of trendy merchandise for preteens and teens, opened its 1,000th store nationwide at Brookhollow Marketplace, a 200,000-squarefoot development of Fidelis Realty Partners at 4500 Dacoma in northwest Houston.
The Philadelphia-based retailer, which entered the Houston market in 2014 with eight locations, has grown to 15 stores in the metro area and 111 across Texas. Additional stores will open at the Grand at Aliana in Richmond and Fairfield Town Center in Cypress.
Five Below recently began shipping merchandise from its 850,000-squarefoot distribution center in Conroe. The center, which employs 115 people, serves more than 170 stores in the Texas, Southwest and West Coast markets.
Swarovski
unveiled its first Crystal Studio retail location in Texas at its Houston Galleria store. Part of a global initiative introduced in Milan last year, the 1,373-square-foot store incorporates digital components designed to create an immersive shopping experience to appeal to millennial and Gen Z customers. The space features a Crystal Bar jewelry station with lighted mirrors, interactive tablets providing styling tips and large screens with inspirational visuals.
L. Ehrlich & Associates Medical Clinic leased 6,572 square feet at the Kirby Oaks Shopping Center, at 2535 Kirby. Ronnie Turboff of Turbo Corp. represented the tenant. Elise Weatherall of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Frio To Go signed a fiveyear lease for a 2,800-square foot Daiquiri Shack at 4514
Yale St. in the Garden Oaks area. It will be the company’s third Daiquiri Shack location, with opening targeted for February. Kyle Fischer, of Belvoir, represented landlord Ravensdale LLC. Ernesto Grey of Advanced Brokerage represented the tenant.
Benjamin Moore paint center leased 2,000 square feet at 11619 Shadow Creek Parkway in Pearland. Greg Lee and Inna Radford of Rubicon Realty Group represented the landlord. Jim Pappas represented the franchisee.
Rapidcare Emergency Room leased a 6,580square-foot building at Texas 146 and Fairmont Parkway in La Porte, from 4808 North McCarty LLC. David Meyers and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Gloria IIochonwu of Keller Williams represented the tenant.
Chipotle Mexican Grill leased 2,998 square feet in Brazos Town Center, at U.S. 59 and FM 762/Reading Road, Rosenberg. Bob Conwell and Austen Baldridge represented the landlord, NewQuest Properties. Traci Holman and Jason Baker of Baker Katz represented the tenant.
Restore Hyper Wellness & Cryotherapy leased 2,331 square feet in the Shops at Upper Kirby, 2715 Bissonnet St. Nick Ramsey of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. David Ferguson of BPI Realty represented the landlord, 2715 Bissonnet LLC.

Blue Ox Group brokered the sale of Raising Cane’s, a recently opened fast-food restaurant at 7009 Gulf Freeway at Woodridge Drive in southeast Houston. Burdette Huffman and Josh Jacobs represented the seller, 7007 Gulf Ltd. Gulf RC Ventures was the buyer.
