Lineup announced for QFest Houston’s virtual screenings.

QFest, Houston’s LGBTQ film festival, is going virtual this year, running Sept. 24-28.

The lineup includes six competitio­n feature films, three special features and several shorts. The 24th annual event will be hosted by Cinenso, an online platform specifical­ly designed for film screenings and festivals.

An all-access pass is $20. Individual film tickets can usually be purchased the day of the screening.

Here’s the complete feature lineup:

“5 Minutes Too Late” (Romania): An aggressive investigat­ive reporter and a celebrated but compromise­d police captain attempt to manipulate the truth surroundin­g the attack of a young man attending a public LGBT event overrun by violent anti-gay protesters.

“Chasing Paper Birds” (Germany): The lives of three young Berliners collide after a night of excess.

“Gracefully” (Islamic Republic of Iran): An 80year-old dairy farmer recounts his time as a female impersonat­or before the 1979 Iranian Revolution banned public dancing.

“Khartoum Offside” (Sudan): A group of women in Khartoum are determined to play profession­al football and become officially recognized as Sudan’s National Woman’s Team.

“Saints” (Argentina): A mysterious stranger seduces his way into the lives of two siblings.

“Women Without Men” (Italy): A young woman’s funeral brings together a disparate group of mourners, and one exposes the disturbing relationsh­ip between father and daughter.

“Ask Any Buddy” (U.S.): A collection of 126 adult films, from 19681986, were used to create a “kaleidosco­pic” snapshot of urban gay life in the years following the Stonewall Riots. Or at least how it looked in the movies.

“Before the Night Is Over” (U.S.): Samantha Pearl is sent to live with her aunt, who runs a mysterious bordello, where she finds out more about her parents’ death.

“Queer Genius” (U.S.): A portrait of five queer female artists: Barbara Hammer, Eileen Myles, Black Quantum Futurism, Moor Mother and Dynasty Handbag/Jibz Cameron.
