Einstein Bros. Bagels is setting up shop inside convenience stores for the first time. Its initial locations in Houston are part of a five-store development deal with King Fuels. All five will be in the Houston area, beginning with the Mobile station at 15605 Aldine Westfield. Locations will follow at Shell stations at 108 W. Greens Road in north Houston and 3803 San Jacinto St. in Midtown.

“Einstein Bros. Bagels is a perfect fit for King Fuels as both companies share a commitment to excellent service and providing exceptionally convenient options,” King Fuels President and CEO Zaki Niazi said in an announcement. “We are thrilled to provide the Houston market with another convenient way to fuel up with a delicious fresh-baked breakfast or lunch.”

The stores will be similar to classic Einstein Bros. Bagels bakeries but smaller, with a simplified, all-day breakfast menu. Choices will include select bagel and schmear flavors, egg sandwiches and cold brew coffee, with hot pizza bagels for lunch.
