THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

Here is a list of closings on Thanksgiving and Friday:

All nonessential federal offices, including the post office, will be closed Thursday.

City of Houston and state government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Local bus routes, Metro Rail and Metro Rapid will run on a Sunday schedule on Thursday and Friday. A more detailed Metro schedule can be found here.

Public libraries in Houston will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Harris County offices, including courts, will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

There will be no garbage collection on Thursday, and all solid waste facilities will be closed. Thursday’s garbage will be collected on Friday and Friday’s garbage on Saturday.

Federal Reserve banks and branches will be closed on Thursday.
