ROSALIE MARIE LORINO ALTOMARI, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She was born in Houston, Texas on June 28, 1938, to Tom and Lena Tamborella Lorino, who preceded her in death.

Rosalie graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in Houston and worked for Houston Bank & Trust, Queen of Peace School and Incarnate Word Academy. She was also a member of The Ladies of the Sacred Heart, the Trinacria Club and the St. Rose of Lima Altar Guild.

Rosalie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph P. Altomari; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph M. and Donna Altomari; daughter and son-in-law, Lynnette and Michael Krezinski; grandchild­ren Matthew, Jason and Michelle Krezinski; sisterin-law, Margaret (Peggy) Zeigler; niece and nephews Dale, Mark and Glen Zeigler and families and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 following at 10:15 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary, then at 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Texas 77018, with Rev. Msgr. James B. Anderson, Father Rafael Becerra and Deacon John Murrell presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at Garden of Gethsemane at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Pallbearer­s are Joseph M. Altomari, Matthew, Jason, Michelle and Michael Krezinski. Honorary pallbearer­s are nephews Mark and Glen Zeigler and Dr. Everett Anderson.

The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to Rosalie’s caregivers, Lorena Castaneda and Aura Lopez, for their devoted care and loving kindness to our wife, mother and grandmothe­r. In addition, we wish to express great appreciati­on to the staff of the Accredited Hospices of America (Houston).
