DR. WALTER ROBERT MORROW

Walter Robert Morrow passed away of leukemia on January 20, 2021. Bob was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 12, 1941, to Eleanor and Walter Crowther Morrow. He is predecease­d by his mother, father and brother, Ronald.

Bob was an Eagle Scout who graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in ceramics engineerin­g. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and the fencing team.

Upon graduation, he was hired by Owens Illinois and eventually moved to Houston. Bob decided to make a career change and was hired by Eastman Dillon Brokerage and subsequent­ly Lehman Brothers. He married Mary B. Morrow in 1969 and they had two sons, Douglas Patton and Robert Bruff Morrow.

Bob transition­ed to the real estate business and developed the Beechnut Profession­al Building, which sparked an interest in the medical field. He became a successful chiropract­or and started Westside Physicians Clinic in Houston, Texas, which is still thriving today.

Bob met Linda Price Morrow in Houston before becoming a chiropract­or. They married in 1987. Linda was an integral part in starting Westside Physicians Clinic as well as contributi­ng greatly to its continued success.

Bob enjoyed woodworkin­g, complex constructi­ons projects and developing software programs. He was always quick to engage in an intellectu­al challenge. He was a long time member of the River Oaks Breakfast Club. Bob was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfathe­r and friend.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda, son, Douglas and wife, Heather, son, Bruff and wife Harper, two granddaugh­ters, Ellie and Cate, stepson, Greg Guggenheim and his wife Natalie, two step grandchild­ren, Gracie and Sophie, and stepson Grant Guggenheim.

A gathering to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
