Here’s what’s known about other high-profile reboots coming to TV and streaming services:

“Punky Brewster”: In this 10-episode continuati­on of the ’80s sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Soleil Moon Frye reprises her role as Punky. Now she’s the grown-up, a single mother of three trying to get her life on track when she meets Izzy, a girl in the foster system who reminds her a lot of her younger self. Freddie Prinze Jr. plays Punky’s ex-husband. Peacock, Feb. 25

“Fantasy Island”: This rebooted version of Aaron Spelling’s classic series starring Ricardo Montalban, which aired on ABC from 1977 to 1984, comes from executive producers Liz Craft and Sarah Fain. Each episode will tell emotional stories about people who come to the island with a lifelong wish. Fox, summer

“Dexter”: Eight years after the original series ended, Michael C. Hall will reprise his title role as a serial killer. The 10-episode revival will be set in the present and pick up after the 2013 finale, which sent Dexter into hiding in the Oregon woods after he faked his demise. Showtime, fall 2021

“Gossip Girl”: This reimaginin­g follows a new group of glamorous prep-school students in the chic Upper East Side of Manhattan as they deal with controvers­y, romance and, of course, the latest fashions. It has been announced that Kristen Bell will return as the narrator. Original creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will be at the helm of the reboot, too. HBO Max, 2021

“In Treatment”: Uzo Aduba of “Orange Is the New Black” will play the lead role of a therapist (Gabriel Byrne in the original). In this reimaginin­g of the half-hour drama, Dr. Brooke Lawrence (Aduba) will see a diverse trio of patients, one at a time, while she wrestles with her own troubles. HBO Max, 2021

“Sex and the City” revival: Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will reprise their roles of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in “And Just Like That,” a new 10-episode chapter of HBO’s “Sex and the City.” Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, will not be participat­ing in the updated version of the hit comedy.
