LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch lands new tenants
Evergreen Commercial Realty has been selected by POAG Shopping Centers to handle retail leasing for LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, a 409,480square-foot mixed-use center on 34 acres at the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy. In recent leasing, FireDisc, a Katy-based manufacturer of outdoor cookers, opened its first showroom store at LaCenterra. Ambriza Social Mexican Kitchen is building out a 5,365-square-foot space. Dish Society is doubling its restaurant to 4,146 square feet. Evergreen’s Lilly Golden, Blair Golden and Haley Golden, along with Vince O'Toole of POAG, are the leasing contacts.
Weingarten Realty Investors acquired partner Fidelis’ stake in Village Plaza at Bunker Hill, a 491,686-square-foot shopping center at Interstate 10 and Bunker Hill Road. The property, now fully owned by Weingarten, is anchored by H-E-B, PetSmart, Ross, Academy and Burlington. JLL Capital Markets arranged the transaction as part of a property swap in which Fidelis sold its interest in Village Plaza and simultaneously purchased Weingarten’s Overton Park Plaza in Fort Worth. JLL’s Ryan West, Chris Gerard, Katherine Miller and Adam Roossien worked on the deal. Colby Mueck and Clint Coe arranged acquisition financing for Overton Park Plaza on behalf of Fidelis.
David Cottrell Investments opened East Bay Plaza, a 21,000square-foot shopping center development at 6500 7th St. in Bay City, 65 miles southwest of Houston. Tenants are Cricket Cellular, Glamour Nails, Grit Fitness, 421 Coffee and Bistro, Vibe Beauty Salon and Berkeley Eye Center.
Northeast View purchased a 15,059-square-foot retail center on 1.5 acres at 27230 U.S. 290, Cypress. David Luther of NewQuest Properties represented the buyer. Josh Jacobs of Blue Ox Group represented the seller, 290 Louetta Project Ltd.
Tri-Star Super purchased 1.5 acres at the northeast corner of FM 518 and Brandywyne in Friendswood as the site of a convenience store. Lilly Golden of Evergreen Commercial Realty represented the seller, Hausman Interests. Jason Kieschnick of Zann Commercial Brokerage represented the buyer.
Evoke The Bridal Experience leased 1,166 square feet in Sunrise Lake Village, 9415 Broadway, Pearland. Randy Fertitta of Clarion Properties represented the landlord, Rebound Retail. Melissa Gerber Brams of Gerber Realty represented the tenant.
Coco Bella Hair & Beauty leased 8,180 square feet in Brazos Town Center Phase II, at U.S. 59 and FM 762/Reading Road, Rosenberg, from NewQuest Properties.
