Amazon building in Katy trades hands
Veritex Community Bank leased 12,200 square feet in Village Towers, a development of Houston-based Moody National Cos. at 9655 Katy Freeway in the Memorial area. CBRE helped the bank find a location to accommodate growth in its corporate, commercial and industrial banking teams. The property, constructed by Arch-Con Corp., has a gym, conference center and dining options including Masraff ’s, Texadelphia and Treebeards. The Dallas-based bank has 40 branches in Houston, Fort Worth and Dallas.
An affiliate of Walton Street Capital purchased the 805,601square-foot Amazon sort center at 22525 Clay Road at the Grand Parkway in Katy. Duke Realty completed building the facility last year for Amazon, which occupies the center under a long-term lease. Trent Agnew, Rusty Tamlyn, Charles Strauss, Tom Weber and Jack Britton of JLL represented Duke Realty. Colby Mueck, Michael Johnson and Molly Leinsdorf of JLL arranged an acquisition loan with Wells Fargo Bank. Situated on 54 acres, the cross-dock building has a 40-foot clear height, 190-foot truck court, 190 dock-high doors, vehicle and truck parking and LED lighting.
Supermercados Teloloapan Management Co. purchased a 31,803-square-foot building at 1713 Townhurst Drive in the Town & Country Business Park for its headquarters. Shaw Commercial Properties represented the seller, Bone Properties. Rice Realty Group represented the buyer. The building is on 2 acres in the Spring Branch area.
Belvoir Real Estate Group purchased a 119,388-square-foot office building at 12777 Jones Road in northwest Houston. Belvoir’s Matthew Goldsby and Bradley Smith led the acquisition team. Darrell Betts and Jessica Alexander of Avison Young represented the seller. Upgrades are planned to the common areas and tenant amenities.
TXG Industries leased 8,000 square feet at 313 Main St. in South Houston. Jake Wilkinson of NAI Partners represented the tenant. The landlord is RAE Properties.
Winsupply of Houston ,a distributor of plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical and other products, leased 65,650 square feet at Cole Creek Business Park, 8708 West Little York Road. Heath Donica and Tyler Maner of Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant. Faron Wiley of CBRE represented the landlord, Clarion Partners.
Waller Independent School District purchased 18 acres near Bridgeland Creek Parkway and Prairieland Crossing as the site of an elementary school, Howard Hughes Corp. announced. The school will be west of the Grand Parkway in Prairieland Village, the third of four planned villages in Bridgeland.
CW Global leased 15,000 square feet at 1519 Industrial Drive in Missouri City. Jake Wilkinson and Darren O’Conor of NAI Partners represented the landlord, Bison Warehouses.
Flight Pro International leased 6,128 square feet at 6002 Rogerdale Road in Westchase. Newmark represented the tenant. JLL represented the landlord, Regency Phase I Oak Park LLC.
SMIT International leased 30,940 square feet of office/ industrial space at 15402 W. Vantage Parkway. Mike Nilsen of Tarantino Properties represented the landlord, Intercontinental Partners. John Hornbuckle and Kyle Whieldon of Cypressbrook Co. represented the tenant.
Claridge Properties purchased Northshore Meadows, a 291-unit apartment complex at 333 Uvalde Road. Ryan Epstein, Jennifer Ray and Scott Bray of Berkadia brokered the sale.
Roberto Porras leased 2,300 square feet of office space at 7500 San Felipe St. William McCarthy with Finial Group handled the lease.
