So far: Rockets 11-17; Bulls 13-16. Lately: The Rockets have not played since Wednesday when their loss in Philadelph­ia extended the skid to seven games. The Bulls have won five of their past seven, topping the Kings in Chicago on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS

In the seven-game losing streak, the Rockets have ranked last in the NBA in offensive rating, rebounding percentage, field-goal percentage and scoring and second-to-last in 3-point percentage. … Houston will need a win to avoid its longest losing streak since a 15-game skid from Nov. 23 to Dec. 20, 2000. … After a pair of games were postponed in the wake of the winter storm, the Rockets play just one home game before a two-game road trip. They are 5-6 at Toyota Center. … The Rockets are 2-16 when trailing by 10 or more points. … In the nine games since making a franchise-record 28 3-pointers in Oklahoma City, the team has averaged 12.8 per game on 29 percent 3-point shooting. … Forward Jae’Sean Tate has averaged 12.8 points on 60.8 percent shooting in his past 11 games. Tate had averaged 7.9 points per game on 49.5 percent shooting in his first 17 games. … Guard John Wall has averaged 25.3 points and seven assists in the Rockets’ seven game losing streak but made 30.2 percent of his 3-pointers and 64.3 percent of his free throws in that stretch. … Forward Danuel House Jr. has made 5 of 28 3-pointers in his past five games.

SCOUTING THE BULLS

Chicago’s win over the Rockets last month, in which it scored 125 points on 46.7 percent shooting, snapped a seven-game losing streak to Houston. … In the win against the Rockets, five Bulls players made at least three 3-pointers for just the second time in franchise history. Chicago made 20 of 45 3-pointers in that game. … The Bulls scored a season-high 66 points in the paint Saturday and average 48.7, eighth-most in the NBA … The Bulls are 7-7 on the road and 2-4 against Western Conference teams with wins last month in Portland and Dallas. … The Bulls made 59.8 percent of their shots against the Kings on Saturday, the 11th time they have made 50 percent or better, two shy of last season’s total … Guard Zach LaVine, who had 38 points against the Kings on Saturday and 33 points in the first meeting with the Rockets, has scored at least 30 points in seven of his past eight games, averaging 35.1 per game. La Vine’s 15 30-point games this season trail only Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard. He is one of six players to average 25 points, five assists, five rebounds and one steal per game and leads the NBA in fourth-quarter scoring, averaging 8.2 points. … Second-year guard Coby White is averaging career bests in scoring (15.2), rebounds (4.7) and assists (5.3). … Rookie Patrick Williams, who did not play in the first meeting with the Rockets, on Saturday had his second double-double, with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
