Kathryn Ann Brady went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 15, 2021. Kathryn was born in West Chicago, Illinois on November 30, 1943 to Charles and Florence Schultz. She lived in the Elgin area most of her early years and worked for the Illinois Tool Works Company. In 1969, she and her husband John moved to Houston with children Brenda and Byron.

Kathryn was always loving and caring to her family, friends and neighbors. Kathryn adored her children and grandchild­ren and always loved each one unconditio­nally. Her most fulfilling joy was rearing four of her grandchild­ren through their years of education until they became independen­t and self-supporting adults.

In Houston, she worked for several Security organizati­ons. She also provided childcare services and performed residentia­l cleaning. She retired from Universal Protection Service LP in 2018. Most recently, she enjoyed living at The Conservato­ry at Champion Forest, an independen­t living retirement community. She was a member of Hope Community Evangelica­l Covenant Church.

Kathryn is survived by her son Byron Brady, grandchild­ren Kevin Brady, Amy Ernst and husband Patrick, Jessica Rodriguez and husband Yireth, Francisco (J.R.) Rubalcava and fiancé Dalila, Fernando Rubalcava, Joshua Brady and wife Caroline, great grandchild­ren Jireh and Jaiden Rodriguez, Audrey and Edith Ernst, and her sisters Patricia (David) Thompson, Charlene (Rick) Westlund, and brother Wayne (Nancy) Schultz.

Kathryn’s funeral service will be graveside at the Klein Memorial Park at 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77375 officiated by Pastor John Farnocchia. It will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Public Viewing will be at 1:00 pm and the graveside service at 2:00 pm with social distancing observed.
