Dolores “Dee” Cecelia (Dominic) Rismondo LeMay, 94, of Houston peacefully passed away on March 1, 2021. Dee was born on March 13, 1926 to Andrew and Eugenia Rismondo in Galveston. She studied business and music at the Texas Woman’s University in Denton; served as a secretary at the John Sealy Hospital in Galveston and U.S. Atomic Energy Commission in Washington, D.C.; and enjoyed six decades in Houston as a devoted wife, mother of six sons, grandmothe­r of five grandchild­ren, and wonderful friend to so many who knew her. Dee dearly loved her husband, sister, brothers, sons, grandchild­ren, and extended family.

Dee is survived by her six sons: Glenn LeMay, Dan LeMay and his wife Susan, Mike LeMay and his wife Diane, Craig LeMay and his wife Marjan, Kirk LeMay and his wife Dianne, and Keith LeMay and his wife Dianne. Dee is also survived by her five grandchild­ren: Michael LeMay, Lindsay LeMay, Brittany LeMay, Lincoln Reeves, and Connor LeMay. Additional­ly, Dee is survived by her brother Mike Rismondo and his daughters Laura and Marilyn and son Tony; sister Jean Jones and her daughter Rachel and granddaugh­ter Remy; sister-in-law Dorothy “Dottie” Allison; and their extended families.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledg­e all the love and care provided by Hospice and the caregivers at Unlimited Care’s Oakridge Cottage in Spring.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Eugenia Rismondo, her brother, Andrew Rismondo Jr., and her husband of 64 years, James Russell “Russ” LeMay.

A funeral service will not be conducted per Dee’s wishes.
