Georgiana Kyle Simmons died peacefully on March 29, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1926, in Kansas. She married James Everett Simmons, the love of her life, and then moved to Houston.

She dearly loved and was so proud of her four grandchildren: Shawna Fisher (Jake), Ryan Simmons (Lauren), Daniel Simmons (Nadia), and Megan Pike - each of whom believe they were indeed her favorite. She delighted in her eight great-grandchildren to whom she was the “Best Gigi” ever. She also leaves behind three siblings. Her husband and parents predeceased her.

Her family is so grateful to Ruth, her wonderful caregiver who took excellent care of her, loved her, and made it possible for her to stay in her home until the end, which was her wish.
