ANGELA MARIE CASTILLE

1962-2021

- Insall, Robert

Angela “Angie” Marie Castille, 58, returned to her heavenly home on March 21, 2021.

Angie was born to her Mother, a dedicated nurse of over 30 years, in Crowley, Louisiana on October 22, 1962.

Angie had such a generous and loving soul. She treated family, friends and others with respect and an open heart. Despite enduring many challenges throughout her life, she always sought peace and was forever forgiving. She continuously shared her smile and servant heart with those in need, giving freely of her time and energy without expectation from others.

Angie appreciated the simple things in life. She loved the outdoors - especially the beach; enjoyed fishing and searching for treasures with her metal detector; and embraced her Cajun heritage.

Angie was raised by her Mom, along with her three siblings, primarily in Pasadena, Texas. After graduating from South Houston High School, Angie served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1982 – 1986. She received several honorary medals and therefore earned the designation of a decorated Army Veteran. After her service, she continued in work that benefited the public.

Angie was preceded in death by her Mother, Gertrude Anna Hanks Castille, in addition to a number of extended family members.

She is survived by her siblings - Susan Elizabeth, Pamela Ann, and James Ray Castille; her nephews Travis and Tristan and niece Danielle; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial mass will be held at the Catholic Charismatic Center at 1949 Cullen Blvd. in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, April 21 at 12:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at her interment site, Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 13001 Katy Freeway in Houston on Friday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her Mother in the beautiful botanical garden at Memorial Oaks – a perfectly peaceful place.

The family respectfully declines donations, but welcomes prayers, condolences, and the sharing of memories at: legacy.com

Rest in Peace, Dear Sister, in the Loving Arms of our Lord.

“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
