Lately: The Rockets’ win in Orlando on Sunday snapped a five-game losing streak and a five-game road skid. The Heat topped the Nets on Sunday on a Bam Adebayo jumper at the buzzer, snapping a three-game losing string.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS

The Rockets, who played the Magic in Orlando on Sunday, are 4-6 in the second game of back-to-backs. … Houston took a seven-point loss against Miami in the first meeting, the fourth game of the 20-game losing streak. … The Rockets have used 34 starting lineups, their most since the 1996-97 season. … Guard John Wall had at least seven assists in 11 consecutiv­e games before getting just two with seven turnovers on Friday and sitting out Sunday. … Guard Avery Bradley, who started Sunday for the third time since the trade to the Rockets, went into the game making 28.6 percent of his shots after hitting 42.1 percent with the Heat.
