Sarah Jaffe: The Dallas singer-songwriter of “Clementine” fame heads south for a show May 7 at The Heights Theater, 339 W. 19th. Dwight Yoakam: The country mainstay headlines two nights, May 27-28, at Arena Theatre, 7326 U.S. 59 S.

5 Seconds of Summer: The Aussie heartthrob­s take over June 11 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, 2005 Lake Robbins, The Woodlands. Backstreet Boys: From the ’90s to now and until forever. June 19 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, 2005 Lake Robbins, The Woodlands. Blackberri’s Birthday Bash: The local drag queen celebrates with a show featuring Crystal Methyd from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 12. June 19 at Rebar, 202 Tuam.

Warrant: ’80s hair rock, with Lita Ford and Bulletboys. June 25 at Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel.

Chicago: They’ll be playing all the hits. June 27 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Charley Crockett: The Texas troubadour comes back to Houston. June 26 at White Oak Music Hall, 2915 N. Main.

Alicia Villarreal: The regional Mexican songstress returns. July 10 at Arena Theatre, 7326 U.S. 59 S.

Los Aguilar: A family legacy with Pepe, Angela and Leonardo Aguilar. July 10 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Rodney Crowell: Veteran country singer-songwriter from Houston hits the stage. July 29 at The Heights Theater.

The Hella Mega Tour: Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer rock out. July 29 at Minute Maid Park, 501 Crawford.

Justin Bieber: Say what you want, but his songs are pop gold. Aug. 5 at Toyota Center, 1510 Polk.

Tame Impala: The pop savant from Perth returns. Aug. 12 at Toyota Center.

John Legend: The master of sophistica­ted R&B lands Aug. 12 at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, 18111 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land.

Black Crowes: Veteran band takes flight. Aug. 14 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Rod Stewart, Cheap Trick: Double the nostalgia. Aug. 21 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Megadeth, Lamb of God: Two doses of metal. Aug. 22 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Marc Anthony: Salsa and pop and that spectacula­r voice. Aug. 28 at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land. Dayglow: Texas singer-songwriter with the infectious hits “Can I Call You Tonight?” and “Close to You.” Sept. 11 at Warehouse Live. (His Austin date at Stubb’s is already sold out.)

Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin: Latin pop extravagan­za, with opener Sebastian Yatra. Sept. 11 at Toyota Center.

Harry Styles: The former boy-bander has grown into a sterling solo act. Sept. 13 at Toyota Center.

Alicia Keys: Keys is always a reliable live act. Sept. 14 at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land.

Tanya Tucker: The country legend is having a career resurgence, thanks to her excellent “While I’m Livin’ ” album. Sept. 19 at The Heights Theater.

Zoé: Melodic rock from Mexico. Sept. 23 at Bayou Music Center/Revention, 520 Texas. Brooks & Dunn: Country veterans take the stage. Sept. 24 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Hall & Oates, Squeeze, K.T. Tunstall: The ’70s/’80s live again. Sept. 26 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Maroon 5: Adam Levine and his buddies play. Sept. 28 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Arlo Parks: The celebrated new face of British alt-folk/pop makes her Houston debut. Oct. 20 at White Oak Music Hall. Chicano Batman: Smart LA indie rock. Oct. 29 at White Oak Music Hall.

Chris Stapleton: Celebrated country/roots-rock performer plays. Nov. 6 at Cynthia Mitchell Woods Pavilion. Lovelytheb­and, Sir Sly: Two of the biggest new names in alt-rock take the stage. Dec. 14 at White Oak Music Hall.
