The Rockets’ cache of reinforcements keeps on shrinking.

Ahead of Friday’s scheduled road game against the Bucks, the Rockets had a whopping 13 players on the injury report, including three names new to the list.

Guard Kevin Porter Jr., who sprained his left ankle in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game against the 76ers, made the trip to Milwaukee but is listed as out. Center Kelly Olynyk (sore right ankle) is questionable, while guard Avery Bradley is out for personal reasons. Both played Wednesday.

Guard D.J. Augustin (sprained left ankle), center Christian Wood (right ankle soreness) and forward Jae’Sean Tate (left knee contusion) are also questionable. Forward Danuel House Jr. (right ankle sprain) is doubtful. Guard John Wall (strained right hamstring), forward David Nwaba (sprained right wrist,) guard Eric Gordon (strained right groin,) guard Dante Exum (right calf strain), guard Sterling Brown (sore left knee) and forward D.J. Wilson (health and safety protocols) are out.

The Rockets flew to Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon. To meet the NBA’s minimum requirement of eight available players, they can dress players who are on the injury list. On Wednesday against the 76ers, for example, Augustin suited up as the Rockets’ eighth man available but did not play.

Of the four Rockets players not on the injury report, none have more than two seasons of NBA experience. Forward DaQuan Jeffries is in his sophomore season. KJ Martin, Anthony Lamb and Armoni Brooks are rookies; Brooks and Lamb are on two-way contracts.
