JUANITA LEE

1928-2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Juanita Fern Boehm Lee announce her passing on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at the age of 93. After a courageous fight, she died peacefully in her sleep. Juanita was born on January 4, 1928, at Heights Hospital in Houston, Texas.

At a young age, Juanita accepted Christ into her life and was a devoted member of Grace Presbyterian Church. While in high school, Juanita enjoyed being on the Regan Redcoat Drill Team and graduated from Regan High School.

In 1947, Juanita married Thomas Joseph Lee Jr., and their fairy tale love story spanned over 58 years. Juanita took great delight in decorating, gardening, and collecting.

Throughout her life, Juanita’s greatest joy was being with family and friends. Juanita will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandra Lee Hamilton, husband, Jim Hamilton, son, Tom Lee III, grandson, Wayne Thomas Hebert, wife Amber Spicer Hebert, and her great grandchildren Aiden and Tinley Hebert.

Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Joseph Lee Jr., her parents Gladys Carrie Pullum Boehm, Charles William Boehm, her brother, Charles William Boehm Jr., and grandson, John Michael Lee (Hebert).

Surviving sisters-in-law Dorothy Lee, Betty Lee, Betty Jean Lee, Bernice Allen, brother-in-law, Jerry Conner, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation with family & friends for Juanita will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Memorial Oaks Funeral home with committal service to follow.
