Sugar & Cloth Color Wall pops up in Garden Oaks
Buck Mason, a Los Angelesbased apparel brand selling hand crafted T-shirts, denim jeans and button-up shirts, will make its Houston debut in Montrose Collective this spring. Montrose Collective is a development of Houston-based Radom Capital combining old and new buildings along Westheimer with spaces for 25 merchants, chefs and wellness tenants, multiple office tenants and the future Montrose Library. Founded in 2013 by Erik Allen Ford and Sasha Koehn, Buck Mason will occupy a 1,300square-foot space within a 1940building at 906 Westheimer. The space is now occupied by Hue salon, which will move to a larger space within the project at 888 Westheimer this year.

Store, represented by Brian Varvel of Avenue Property Group, leased 1,110 square feet. Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, Boardwalk Crossing LLC, in both transactions.
Riverstone Place, a development of Wulfe & Co. at 18802 University Blvd. in Sugar Land, will add three new tenants by early spring. Postal Plus iRepair leased 1,200 square feet, Icebox Cryotherapy leased 1,635 square feet and Dorado Nail Bar leased 4,621 square feet of space in the center. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Gulf Coast Commercial Group unveiled the Sugar & Cloth Color Wall, a pop up mural celebrating inclusiveness and diversity by lifestyle and DIY décor blogger Ashley Rose at The Common, a retail redevelopment at 1102 Pinemont Drive. The center is near the Garden Oaks, Oak Forest and Acres Homes neighborhoods. Rose also created the Sugar & Cloth Color Wall on Canal Street.
EasyVet leased 1,225 square feet in Shops at Sedona Lakes, at Texas 288 and Bailey Avenue, Manvel, from NewQuest Properties. NewQuest’s Kevin Sims and Nick Ramsey represented the landlord, while Travis Waltmon, also of NewQuest, represented the tenant.
The Now Massage, a massage franchise started in Los Angeles in 2015, will open its first Houston location on Oct 5. The boutique, at 373 W. 19th Street, will be operated by Houston residents Ben and Cynthia Orser.
The Galleria, a Simon property at 5085 Westheimer, announced new stores. Louis Vuitton Men’s opened a 4,602square-foot boutique selling shoes, accessories, watches and jewelry. Creed, a fragrance firm founded in London in 1760 by James Henry Creed, opened an 887-square-foot store. Giorgio Armani relocated to a remodeled 3,300-square-foot space.
Jiffy Lube opened a location at 13525 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble.
Geeks of All Trades leased 10,220 square feet at 21151 Texas 249. Taki Dallis of Resolut RE represented the tenant. Tyler Reiley of Oldham Goodwin represented the landlord.
A Texas-based private partnership purchased the 47,000square-foot LA Fitness building on 4.9 acres at 19409 W. Bellfort St. in Richmond from a Houston-based developer. Austin Blodgett of RealSource Group, along with ParaSell, brokered the deal. The property, located in Waterview Town Center, is leased by LA Fitness.
Bay City Pharmacy leased 1,055 square feet at Long Meadow Plaza, at 7909 W. Grand Parkway in Richmond. Jason Gaines of NAI Partners represented the landlord.
