-

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies broke the NBA record for margin of victory Thursday night with a 152-79 victory over Oklahoma City. The 73point margin easily topped the previous mark of 68 set with Cleveland’s 148-80 win over Miami on Dec. 17, 1991.

Jaren Jackson Jr.’s 27 points led the way for Memphis, which accomplished the record feat without its best player, injured guard Ja Morant.

It was 72-36 at halftime, and the Grizzlies eventually led by as many as 78.

DeMar DeRozan scored 34 points and Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic each added 27 as Chicago held on to win in New York.
