Pauline Mae “Polly” Preston Johnson McCain passed away peacefully at the age of 101 on December 5, 2021, at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her father Herbert Rodney Preston, her mother, Lena Mae Lewis Preston and her son, Rodney Wayne Johnson. Polly was born November 21, 1920, in Teague, Texas. She and her parents moved to Houston when she was 8 years old. Polly was a member of Glenbrook United Methodist Church. She was a Life Member of Beta Sigma Phi and served in the position of all offices. She was a member of numerous clubs. Some of the clubs were Glenbrook Study Club, City and State Federation of Women, Woman’s City Club, Glenbrook UMW, AARP H2U, Past Presidents Club, Pasadena Grandmothe­rs, Lyons Pride, Southwest Christian Women, and various Political Clubs. She enjoyed the traveling she did, the many day trips she took and all the friends she made in each of these clubs.

Polly is survived by daughter Charlotte Coin and husband Don, son Jeff Johnson and wife Susan, daughter Cindy Brown and husband Ray, and daughter in law Rosie Johnson; granddaugh­ters Anna Morrow, Hillary Gee and Missy Johnson; grandsons Darin Coin, Nathan Coin, Jason Johnson, Sean Johnson, Christophe­r Johnson, and Blake Brown and 9 great grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas on (Wednesday Dec. 8th 2021 from 5pm to 8pm) with a service held on (Thursday Dec. 9th 2021 from 10am to 11 am) at Chapel of Angels, interment to follow.
