P.F. Chang’s opens near Galleria
Chicken Salad Chick leased 2,385 square feet in Weslayan Plaza, a Randalls-anchored shopping center at Weslayan and Bissonnet, from Regency Centers. Lilly Golden of Evergreen Commercial Realty represented the tenant.
P.F. Chang’s opened on the ground floor of the Galleria Park office building at 5251 Westheimer across from the Galleria mall. The 6,507-square-foot restaurant has a seating capacity of 342, including the patio. The restaurant replaces the Asian food chain’s former Highland Village location, which closed after 25 years.
Department of Wonder ,an immersive entertainment experience created by a team of storytellers, technologists, designers and producers, will open a 10,000-square-foot venue in Sugar Land Town Square in early 2022. The creators include Academy Award-winning director Brandon Oldenburg, Emmy Award-winning director Limbert Fabian, Kyle Clark, Taylor Williams and Rickey Crum. Located at Texas 6 and U.S. 59, Sugar Land Town Square is undergoing a revitalization by owner Lionstone Investments in collaboration with Dallas-based placemaking firm Rebees and Planned Community Developers.
Village Books leased 1,500 square feet in the Terramont Village Shopping Center, at 9955 Woodlands Parkway, The Woodlands. Priyanka Johri of Woodlands Eco Realty represented the tenant. Katherine Wildman of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
WSS Shoes leased the former 15,097-square-foot Walgreens at 12445 FM 1960 West for their ninth Houston location. Shawn Ackerman and Jason Du of Henry S. Miller Brokerage’s Houston office represented the tenant. Scott Gardner of Streetwise Retail represented the landlord, Eldridge 1960 Crossing LP.
uBreakiFix by Asurion, a provider of repair services for smartphones, tablets, drones and other devices, opened a store at 14215 FM 2920 in Tomball. The location is operated by franchisee Antonio Avila, who has another store in Cypress.
Heartland Dental leased 3,840 square feet in Woodforest Plaza Shopping Center, at 6500 FM 1960, Humble. Kevin Sims and Nick Ramsey of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, Humble Willis LP. Shireen Owlia of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant.
Joe's Italian Restaurant leased 4,976 square feet at Marcel Town Center at Cross Creek at 6627 W. Cross Creek Bend Lane in Fulshear. Benny Nguyen of Resolut RE represented the tenant.
