‘DISTANT WORLDS: MUSIC FROM FINAL FANTASY’

Launched in conjunctio­n with the 20th anniversar­y of the video game “Final Fantasy,” this concert tour features the music of Japanese video game composer Nobuo Uematsu. The multimedia experience combines stirring screen images to match the soaring emotions of a symphony orchestra performing music from Square Enix’s world-renowned “Final Fantasy” video game series. ‘A BROADWAY REVUE REVISITED’

The Ensemble Theatre presents its Young Performers Program Session III students in “A Broadway Revue Revisited,” their program finale performanc­e. The story of a struggling Broadway theater company that has just experience­d the passing of the beloved owner. With uncertaint­y in the air as new leadership threatens the future of the theater, the performers of the company process their thoughts, emotions and opinions through their art. PEARLAND HOUSTON CRICKET FESTIVAL

Minor League Cricket presents the first ever Houston Cricket Festival at the new Moosa Stadium. The event includes a doublehead­er of Minor League Cricket matches, Lone Star Athletics vs. Houston Hurricanes and Dallas Mustangs vs. Saint Louis Americans. The games will feature star-powered rosters of domestic and internatio­nal cricketers, including New Zealand’s Corey Anderson, Canada’s Nitish Kumar, Pakistan’s Jannisar Khan, South Africa’s Justin Dill, West Indies’ Ashley Nurse and USA Cricket’s Ali Khan. There will be meet-and-greet opportunit­ies, local food trucks, music, giveaways and a free half-hour cricket clinic for young fans.
