Bonuses will be triggered if the most recent four-year academic data shows Academic Progress Rate (APR) score is 930 or above.
• $7,500: Conference regular season championship
• $5,000: WNIT appearance
• $2,500: WNIT win (per victory)
• $15,000: WNIT championship
• $15,000: NCAA tournament appearance or conference postseason tournament championship
• $5,000: NCAA tournament first-round victory • $7,500: NCAA tournament second-round victory
• $15,000: NCAA tournament victory in Sweet 16
• $20,000: NCAA tournament victory in Elite Eight
• $40,000: NCAA tournament win in Final Four
• $100,000: NCAA championship
• $7,500: Top 25 ranking (USA Today and/or Associated Press) at any point during season
• $20,000: Top 25 ranking (USA Today or Associated Press) at end of season
• $7,500: Conference Coach of the Year
• $15,000: National Coach of the Year
• $7,500: GPA of 2.6 or above for scholarship student-athletes
• $10,000: Multiyear team APR rate of 940 or above
• $10,000: Team Graduation Success Rate of 60 percent or above
• $10,000: Regular season ticket sales above 1,000 Other details:
• Complimentary tickets: 12 lower bowl for women’s basketball, six lower bowl for men’s basketball and six lower bowl for football.
• One courtesy car.
• If Hughey is terminated for cause, UH is not liable for payment of any remaining base salary or additional compensation.
• If terminated without cause, Hughey will receive 50 percent of base salary remaining.
• If Hughey terminates the contract without cause, he will owe 50 percent of base salary remaining.
