SANDRA FLORES-CRUZ

Jan. 19, 1952 - Feb. 21, 2017

Sandra Flores-Cruz passed Tuesday February 21, 2017, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Sandra was a part of 1970 graduating class of Calexico High School. One of her final great joys was attending her 45th class reunion. Sandra’s fighting spirit and loving heart will always be remembered by those closest to her.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Flores-Ruiz; her brothers, Alex (Diana) Flores, Poli Flores Jr., Mark Flores, Victoria Ross and several nieces and nephews. sister-in-law and primary caregiver, Diana Flores, a shining example of a woman of faith and family: may your strong faith in the lord carry our family through this tough time. The entire Flores and Ruiz families would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of IHSS, Accent Care Nurses, the many Doctors, El Centro Regional Medical Center, Pioneers Memorial Hospital, A.R.T. ambulance service, the Calexico Fire Department, the Ave Maria Rosary maker’s prayer group and the many others who have allowed us more time with Sandra by providing excellent care.

Services for Sandra will be held at the Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico on Thursday March 9, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. and the following morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico at 9 a.m.
