Man arrested for alleged spousal battery

A 45-year-old Calexico man was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Saturday for felony spousal battery and resisting arrest in the 1000 block of East Sixth Street, the Calexico police activity logs stated.

Jose Preciado was booked into county jail and held on two $5,000 bonds in connection with the incident.
