ERYCK ARGUILEZ

Nov. 10, 1976 - Mar. 19, 2017

-

Eryck Arguilez was born in San Francisco, CA on November 10, 1976 at 12:30 am. Dr. Lawrence and Rosa Arguilez met for the first time, the most breathtaking smile on God’s earth. A full six pound fifteen ounces of joy, their new baby boy, Eryck, had arrived!

The family moved to El Centro, CA in 1979, where Eryck and his brothers were raised, went to school, and made many friends.

Eryck’s easy going attitude and generous heart made him a delight to be around, which came from all the love he had at home. Eryck would play, protect, teach and defend his three younger brothers throughout his life. He loved them dearly and they knew it. They had a bond and closeness that many families can only hope to have.

Eryck lived in various parts across the southwest for the last few years, eventually calling Phoenix home. For the last five years he worked at St. Vincent de Paul, where he cooked and fed the less fortunate. He loved working there as he had found his passion and was proud of his accomplishments. Eryck was a person who truly lived and embraced the motto of St. Vincent’s “Feed, Clothes, House and Heal.”

Eryck went to be with the angels on the morning of Sunday, March 19, 2017. His beautiful smile, huge heart and warm hugs will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in El Centro, CA on Saturday, April 1, 2017. “Come, Boy sit down… and rest.” And the boy did. And the tree was happy.” -Shel Silverstein
