Victoria Aguilar
92, Brawley
Victoria Aguilar, 92, of Brawley passed away on April 25, 2017.
She was resident here in Brawley in 1949. She also had faith in her Lord that gave her guidance in her future. Victoria then married and had her family that she cherished and adored. Victoria had unconditional love for her family, grandkids, great-grandkids and great- great- grandkids. She was very dedicated to her Lord as she was part of the Guadalupanas group for her church Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Brawley. Victoria loved spending quality time with her friends from church that had a lot of faith in God just as she did. Victoria spent and dedicated her time to visit those in spiritual needs, for example, when those who were in the convalescent homes and in the hospitals. Victoria was also part of the catholic organization to donate to those that needed medical supplies and necessities that families needed in Mexicali. Victoria also had time for her personal family to cook and feed who in her presence.
Victoria was a beautiful lady in heart, if anyone needed anything she was always there. Victoria’s legacy of her love and compassion will continue on through her family to be loyal and committed to others just like Victoria did.
She was preceded in Death by her sons, Jose Angel “Camello” Carmelo and Luis “Fernie” Aguilar.
Victoria is survived by her sons, Albert (Rosie) Aguilar and Santiago Aguilar; daughters, Maria (Jesse) Leon, Rosa (Jose) Nunez, Frances Aguilar (Julio) Fernandez, Lydia (David) Ornelas and Josie Carmelo-Seja; 35 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren and 10 great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA with Rosary being said at 7 p.m. Mass will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 9 a.m. St. Margaret Mary Church and will be officiated by Father Manuel Gutierrez. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
