We applaud the courage, honor and service. Heroes from Law Enforcemen­t (state, local, federal and county), EMS, Fire, Security Officers, Dispatcher­s and Medical staff throughout Imperial County. A nomination committee will select 5 top awardees to be announced the day of the event. Our heroes deserve to be recognized and appreciate­d for the service provided without thinking twice to protect and serve. The Gala ceremony will include a dinner, dance and drinks tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Tickets are $50 per person or $525 per table to include a bottle of wine. She has been a guest at the museum several times promoting her books: “Ricardo Breceda: Accidental Artist” and “Marshal South and the Ghost Mountain Chronicles.” Her recently published book, “Coast to Cactus,” will be the subject of the museum’s Friday night lecture. It is a guide book about hiking trails in San Diego and Imperial Counties. There will be copies of the book for sale that evening. This is the last lecture until the museum reopens in September.
