Man held on $2M bail for alleged drugs offenses.
A 59-year-old Brawley man that was booked into county jail and held on $2 million bail was arrested for an additional warrant Friday morning, stated county Sheriff’s Office arrest records.
County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the man on Friday at the jail.
The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office was immediately unable to disclose what offense the warrant was issued for.
Randell L. Journey was booked into county jail at 9:30 a.m. Friday for allegedly possessing or purchasing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, maintaining a place for controlled substance sale, willful cruelty to a child, transporting or selling a controlled substance, transporting or selling a narcotic controlled substance and intimidating a witness, stated the arrest records. Journey was previously booked into county jail on May 26 and held on a $2 million bail.
On November 9, Journey was taken into custody in Brawley by Imperial County Narcotics Task Force investigators.
Journey was then booked into county jail for alleged possession of a narcotic controlled substance, willful cruelty to a child, possession/purchasing a controlled substance for selling, possession of a controlled substance for sale, operating or maintaining a place to sell controlled substances and violation of probation and held on $500,000 bond.
