A man who reportedly attempted to steal food items at 3:20 p.m. Sunday at a business in the 400 block of Imperial Avenue allegedly brandished a knife when confronted by a store employee, the Calexico police activity logs stated. The suspect, who was identified, allegedly left the location with the stolen items, the activity logs stated.
