Pursuant to the requirements of the CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) and the County’s “RULES AND REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT CEQA, AS AMENDED” the Imperial County Environmental Evaluation Committee will meet on July 13, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 940 Main Street, El Centro, to review the below-mentioned project(s):
Assessment #17-0017: County of Imperial, California, The Imperial County Planning & Development Services Department is preparing revisions to the Land Use Element and to Title 9, Land Use Ordinance of the Imperial County Codified Ordinance. The purpose of this latest change to the Land Use Element and the Title 9 update is to be consistent with recent changes in State Law and to include revisions made in the 2015 “Renewable Energy & Transmission Element.” The specific revisions in Title 9 resulted in changes to Divisions 4, 5, 14, 17, 24 & 27. Assessment #17-0010: (Informational Only) Applicant: Titan Solar II, LLC has submitted General Plan Amendment #17-0002, Zone Change #17-0001 and Conditional Use Permit #17-0006.The applicant is proposing the construction, operation and reclamation of a 175-acre, 20 MW Seville 4 Solar Project, on a portion of Imperial County Assessor Parcel #018-170-057-000, Lot 8 of Tract Map No 00988. The project is located in portions of Section 23, Township 12 South (T12S), Range 9 East (R9E), San Bernardino Baseline and Meridian (SBB&M). Assessment #17-0007: Applicant: Foster Family has submitted Parcel Map #02473 and is currently reorganizing their 571 acre estate and they wish to redistribute the existing two parcels within their individual family members. The proposed Parcel 1 would consist of 474 acres, and Parcel 2 would consist of the remaining 97 acres, enclosing the area that is currently being used for windrows of cattle manure from the adjacent Foster Feed Yard to the east. The property is located 7 miles southeast of Brawley, CA, about 1.10 miles west of Highway 115 and approximately 4.20 miles east of Highway 111. The parcels are located from Keystone to Boyd Roads, between Messman and Casey Roads.
