The Vincent Memorial High School fell in a heart-breaker to Santana on Friday night falling 5043.

Helping the Scots offensivel­y in the win was Javier Briseño. Briseño was the team’s second-leading rusher in the win tallying 110 yards on 16 carries and also scoring a rushing touchdown.

Diego Hernandez, Imperial High

The Imperial High School football team dropped a tough non-league contest to Mount Miguel 20-14 on Friday night. Helping keep the game within reach for Imperial was senior linebacker Diego Hernandez. Hernandez finished with 13 total tackles including a game-high five tackles for loss.

Brandon Hueso, Imperial High

The Imperial High football team lost a tough matchup to Mount Miguel High School on Friday, with senior running back Brandon Hueso pacing the offense in the game. Hueso rushed for a game-high 268 yards on 38 carries to go with two touchdown runs from seven and nine yards out.

Casey Kline, Brawley Union High

Brawley Union High School defeated Gila Ridge 33-11 on Friday with junior Casey Kline helping the Wildcat offense in the win. Kline had 14 carries for 149 yards and one rushing touchdown. Defensivel­y he had three solo tackles, two first hits, an assist and a sack.

Julian Medina, Calipatria High

The Calipatria High School football team bounced back after a tough one-point loss to Calexico High School on Sept. 15 to defeat Riverside Preparator­y High School 38-20 on Friday night.

Helping the Hornets in the win was senior Julian Medina. Medina had 21 carries for 166 yards including a three-yard touchdown rush and a 16-yard touchdown pass.

Michael Moreno, Brawley Union High

Brawley Union High’s Michael Moreno had another multiple touchdown performanc­e for the Wildcats in a 33-11 win over Gila Ridge High School. Moreno had 25 carries for 188 yards with three rushing touchdowns. Defensivel­y he had four solos, one assist and two tackles for loss.

Andy Rojas, Calexico High

The Calexico High football team fell to Desert Mirage High School 25-14 on Friday night in a tough loss. Leading the offense for the Bulldogs in the game was senior Andy Rojas. Rojas finished with 129 all-purpose yards including an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown.
