KURTIS LLOYD KLINE

-

1956 - 2017

The president and founder of the Chicken Chokers group has passed away.

Kurtis (Freebird) Kline, 61, of the Imperial Valley was in a fatal ATV accident on Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Rogue River, Oregon.

If you ever had been blessed to know him you would never forget him. Kurt loved life and his fellow man. Always a giving spirit and inspiration to many. Kurt was a farmer at heart and just enjoyed watching things grow, learning new things. He was very proud of his grandparents having his grandmas big heart. He always believed Do your best and live to the fullest. “He was an adventure”.

The most important thing in Kurtis life was family and friends. Kurt always saw the best in others doing the right thing, (even if the same wasn’t done to him). Kurt found joy in racing with friend Corda in the desert and Mexico. Going fast was always his thing.

He was the most sensitive, caring nurturing, understanding, and even a bit hard headed, (ok a lot hard headed) at times. Always wanting the best for all around him. He would be the first to extend a hand up (not a hand out), he would say. Never forgetting where he came from or the lessons he went through.

Kurtis and his partner Shelley Alford bought there first home together which was a log home in Rogue River, Oregon where they were remodeling and planting wanting to have friends and family come to enjoy the nature and peace he worked so hard for.

Kurtis always felt blessed to have such caring friends in different times of his life and would lose a piece of his heart when one would leave us.

We to Kurtis have been touched and blessed to have you in our lives, you will be missed by so many.

Kurtis is survived by his mother, Alice; brothers, Stan and Keno Kline; along with soon to be wife, Shelley Alford.

So never “Saying goodbye” you would always say, to you Kurtis Lloyd Kline until we meet again good friend.

Celebration of Life will be held October 13th at the Loft 201 N. Imperial Ave Elcenrto, 4 to 7p.m.
