Man arrested at Hamburger Stand for attempted lewd acts

A 44-year-old Brawley man was arrested for allegedly attempting lewd acts on a minor stated county Sheriff’s Office arrest records.

Jonathan R. Torres was taken into custody at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Hamburger Stand by county Sheriff’s deputies and booked into county jail on suspicion of contacting a minor for the purpose of committing a felony, arranging a meeting with a minor, attempting lewd acts on a child under 14-years old and attempting to contribute to the delinquency of a minor, stated the arrest records.

Torres was held on a $100,000 bond for the four alleged offenses, arrest records stated.
