HERMELINDA (ARVIZU) RONNING

Hermelinda Ronning, 66, of Imperial passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017.

She was the first born to Maria Delia Hernandez and Reymundo Andrade Arvizu in San Bernardino, CA.

Linda went to school in Calipatria, CA and Brawley, CA. Later, in 1978 she married Ronnie Ray Ronning. Linda went on many adventures with her husband. They would go fishing, hiking, shooting and much more. When they had their first, one and only child (Ricky Roy Ronning) it was a blessing. Linda was a beautiful lady who was nice and sweet to be around. Everyone loved her cooking and baking. Her favorite color was yellow and her husband surprised her with a yellow truck that he still drives around today. Linda loved being around her family, especially her nephews and nieces. She also had many friends that she adored.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Ray Ronning; son, Ricky Roy Ronning; siblings, Mary (Jose) Rivas of San Luis Rio Colorado, David (Sophia) Arvizu of Brawley, CA, Isabel (Humberto) Garcia of Riverside, CA, Jackie (Andrew) Palma of Santa Ana, CA, Lucy (Peter) Escobar of Los Banos, CA and Mario Morales of Tustin, CA; 32 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6 to 9 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hems Brothers and Mortuary in El Centro. Mass will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.

In lies of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Center of the Desert in memory of Hermalinda Ronning.
