Record 8-2-2
“It’s been a pleasure for me to be coaching this team since 2012. With a winning record of 8 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties, I must say it’s been our toughest and hardest-fought season yet. My girls played their hearts out literally until the last minute of the season. Special thanks to Stephanie Boutwell (Team Manager/ Club Registrar), David Espino (Club Secretary), Alex Necochea (Club Treasurer) and Ruben Valenzuela (Southwest High School AD) for all their support and making this possible.”
DESC Girls’ 2006 Team
Head coach Efren Coronel
Record 10-2-0
“The girls practice twice a week juggling school work and other activities during the week. Their dedication to game of soccer has been outstanding. The girls continue to push each other during practices and games achieving the ultimate goal of a first-place finish. Every single girl contributed to the success of the team.
Now we are looking to move up to the next level next season. This will challenge our girls and continue to make them work harder as they are going up against bigger and more experienced teams.
I would like to thank the parents for the continued support of their daughters’ development. The coaching staff, which includes Ricardo Munguia and Julio Davalos are also very proud of team’s development.”
