Men indicted for robberies.
Two individuals were indicted Wednesday in separate cases for their alleged involvement in a couple of robberies, said the Attorney General’s office.
Authorities said one of the suspects indicted was identified as Jorge Ernesto “Doe,” no age reported.
The individual has been accused of the Nov. 12 armed robbery reported in a residence located at Teide Street at Fraccionamiento Hacienda de Castilla neighborhood.
Authorities said the suspect entered the residence through the window of one of the rooms and brandished a knife towards an 11-year-old boy.
The suspect presumably told the minor to remain quiet.
According to the agency the suspect took cell phones, cash, bank cards, five border crossing cards and other items.
The victim told his parents about the incident after the suspect fled.
In another hearing, a state judge indicted an individual identified as Jesus Humberto “Doe.”
The suspect allegedly took part in a robbery reported Sept. 13, 2016, at the Oxxo convenience store located at Pluton Avenue and Mirfac Street at Fraccionamiento Valle de las Misiones neigborhood in eastern Mexicali.
Authorities said the suspect apparently brandished a knife and took 2,000 pesos or a little over $100.
The judge decided to keep the suspects behind bars and gave detectives two months to close the investigation.
