Reason to watch the Super Bowl

-

Thanks to President Trump, we now know why thousands of American soldiers have died in the Middle East/Persian Gulf Wars. This would also include the millions of Muslims, Kurds, Christians’ combatants and civilians who perished during the war. Even including the billions of tax payers’ dollars spent. They all died and sacrificed themselves so “we could watch the Super Bowl.” (IV Press Feb. 5, page 3).

President Trump went on to renew his criticism on NFL players for kneeling during the playing of our National Anthem. Deeming it as disrespectable by, linking it to service members who have sacrificed themselves for our country.

All the while, NFL players kneeled in protest against police brutality/killing of Black people. It had nothing at all to do with our brave Military Forces abroad. I would advise you to stick to more concerning issues Mr. President. A prime example would be another mini-war now in Nigeria. An African land, locked without Naval or Air power. What is most shocking is that the majority of Congress is not even aware that we had troops there, until four Americans were reported killed and one was wounded in an ambush. Oh, but they died for our freedom and liberty! Of course, this means more war bucks.

Flash: Shooting at Florida High School, 17 killed. But still not the time to discuss gun control!
