The Bulldogs had to win a play-in game just to reach the first rounds, meaning Saturday’s game will be their fifth playoff game. Like Southwest, the No. 12 Bulldogs have upset every team they’ve face including No. 5 Bonita Vista, No. 4 Castle Park and No. 8 Chula Vista in overtime most recently.

This earned Calexico its second finals appearance in three years with the first coming in 2016 in the Div. I tourney.

The Scots won the ML crown over West Shores this season and are likely determined to do the same in the CIF final.
