Mario Torres Jr., 38, of Imperial passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Mario was born September 29, 1979 in Brawley, CA to MonaLisa Juarez and Mario Torres Sr.

He was raised in Brawley, California and graduated from BUHS in 1997. In 2006 he had a beautiful daughter, Natalie Torres, who he absolutely adored. Since childhood Mario had a unique love for agricultur­e. He followed his father’s footsteps and pursued a career in Agricultur­e. He would wake up early to go with his father to bale hay. From the age of 18 he worked for several local farming companies and later began his career with Empire Machinery as an Ag Product Support Service Rep where his customers became friends. He later went on to work for Trio Seed. Mario was a very involved father, enjoyed spending time with his daughter and sidekick. He loved her to the moon and back. She was his world. She would ride around with him in his big work truck and got to know a lot of his friends and the Ag business friends. Mario loved his entire family, friends and co-workers. Mario was a hard worker and was self-less human being who was always willing to help all in need. He would go out of his way and would take the shirt off his back if needed. He enjoyed his trips with his mom to the desert with family and friends, he enjoyed Baja races and annual hunting.

He was preceded in death by his his grandfathe­r, Alfonso “Sonny” Juarez Jr.; grandfathe­r, Felix Torres; grandmothe­r, Eva Torres; uncle, Manuel Torres.

Mario is survived by daughter, Natalie Torres; mother, MonaLisa Juarez; father, Mario Torres Sr.; grandmothe­r, Gloria Juarez and all his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous great friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.

I am very grateful for all the love and support I received from everyone. Mario will be missed tremendous­ly by all those who loved him and had any kind of contact with him. May God bless you Mijo, My son…”The Simple Man”….until we meet again.
